Denise
O'Dunn, RYT500 has received training in a variety of styles of hatha yoga. Classical
Sivananda, Iyengar, Kripalu and Kundalini, to list a few. Her teaching is
an eclectic blend of these various styles and the discoveries she has made in
her own practice. Denise teaches Hatha Yoga as an intuitive practice
with a focus on proper body alignment
and conscious breathing. Her students are encouraged to move slowly into
postures that are held steady and at ease while finding their own
challenge within the pose.
She blends the ancient traditions of
Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda into a class that focuses on an individual
practice of self-care. Her students are guided on a blissful path to
find stillness within dynamic action and strength through surrender.
Denise reminds her students that the principles of this practice will
serve them on and off of the yoga mat.
Her hope is that each student leaves her class feeling
better than when they arrived, even better the next day, and that this
continues throughout their lives. This
classical form of yoga is a great balance for busy lifestyles and can be
enjoyed by all "body's" with any or no yoga experience. Appropriate for
pre and postnatal students.
